Our Story

Three decades of devotion, served on a single plate.

Born in Bangkok, refined in Scottsdale — the story of Chada is the story of a family who never stopped chasing flavor.

Inside Chada Thai Fusion The Chada Headdress
The Name

A name that means devotion to detail.

In classical Thai dance, the Chada is the towering, ornate headdress worn by performers at the king's court. Each curve of gold, each tiny gemstone, is hand-shaped over months — and yet, when paired with movement, it becomes a fleeting moment of art.

That is exactly how we cook. We pound our curries by hand. We hand-fold every dumpling. We slow-braise our boat-noodle broth for thirteen hours. The outcome is meant to be enjoyed in a single, perfect moment — and then made all over again, tomorrow, even better than today.

A Family Story

Thirteen years in the making.

2012 · Year One

Via Linda & 90th

We open the original Chada Thai in a small Scottsdale strip mall — table-side hot pots and Bangkok-style curries. A neighborhood quietly falls in love.

2021 · Expansion

Thomas Road

After nine years, we move to Thomas Road to seat more guests, expand the bar, and welcome a craft-cocktail program built on Thai herbs and fresh juice.

2025 · Today

Original · Scottsdale Rd

Chada Thai Fusion is born — a love letter to Southeast Asia, with Vietnamese pho, Korean wings, Japanese sake, and Thai mastery on every page.

Meet the Chef

Chef Bussara "Nina" Ngoitakhu.

Chef Nina has led our kitchen for over twenty years. Trained in northern Thailand, she still pounds every curry paste in our restaurant by hand — galangal, lemongrass, kaffir, peppercorn — never from a jar.

Her philosophy is simple: a great dish is not loud. It is balanced. The salt finds the lime, the lime finds the chili, the chili finds the sweet — and finally, you find yourself smiling without realizing why.
